If wrist watches had been available in 1648, the year of the Peace of Westphalia, the classic Ludwig with its ideal diameter of 38 millimeters would certainly have been the timepiece of choice for the negotiators. With details such as red rhombuses in the minute markers and the leaf shape of the hands, the limited special model of the NOMOS classic still hints at this possibility today. In commemoration of Pax Westphalica 375 years ago: High-precision, hand-wound mechanics of protected origin throughout Europe—a testament to time from Glashutte, created in cooperation with the jewelers Freisfeld and Oeding-Erdel in Münster and Osnabrück.
